SUVA: Fiji’s judiciary has welcomed in another addition to its rank following the swearing in of Puisne Judge Mohamed Javed Mansoor at the State House.
Judge Mohamed Javed Mansoor took the affirmation of office before the President of Fiji, His Excellency, Major General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote, according to a statement by the Fiji government. Judge Mansoor will serve as the Puisne Judge to the High Court of Fiji.
Judge Mansoor, who obtained a Masters of Law in Commercial Law from the King’s College at the University of London in 2004, has a wealth of experience in the legal field including Attorney at Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, having passed out from the Sri Lanka Law College in 1993.
Judge Mansoor specialises in administrative law, corporate law, banking & finance, general commercial law, income tax/international taxation, e-commerce and employment law from 2007 till to date.
Wow…great to see another Sri Lankan joining Fiji’s public Service. I have seen many Sri Lankans addiing value to Fiji. Fiji is a small Island Nation in Pacific Ocean far away from Sri Lanka….
