DUBAI: Zahira College Mawanella OBA – UAE, will holds its annual 8-a-side cricket tournament, “Winter Challenge – Season 2”, on Friday, March 16 at Bathaya Cricket Club Ground in Sharjah.
Branches of Old Boys associations of Sri Lankan schools, professional bodies, and cricket associations are eligible to participate in this tournament. Trophies will be given away to the Gold, Silver and Bronze champions.
Tournament rules allow for a maximum of 24 Teams with each team getting the opportunity to play a minimum three matches. Each team will consist of a pool of 10 players. All players are required to hold a valid UAE visa and in case of any violation by a player, the team stands to get disqualified.
