COLOMBO: US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung today (14) called on Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the party headquarters.
The discussion focused on the latest political developments and the ongoing economic crisis in the country.
“I continue to meet with a wide range of political representatives to encourage the SL government’s efforts to move toward sustainable, inclusive solutions to the economic crisis” US Ambassador tweeted.
“Today, I met with Anura Kumara Dissanayake to discuss the most urgent challenges facing Sri Lankans” she added.
