COLOMBO: The High Commission of India in Sri Lanka has announced an exciting opportunity for Sri Lankan students, offering 200 fully-funded scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic session. The Maulana Azad Scholarship Scheme focuses on Master’s degrees, with a preference for Engineering, Science, and Agriculture. For those interested in Information Technology, the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship Scheme offers undergraduate courses leading to Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology degrees. Additionally, the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme supports undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD studies in diverse domains, including Engineering, Science, Business, and Humanities.
The scholarships provide comprehensive financial support, covering full tuition fees, a monthly sustenance allowance, and an annual grant for books and stationery. Selected candidates will also receive airfare to India, an annual grant for educational tours, and access to hostel facilities within their respective campuses.
